Learn 2 park, not double park.

Disclaimer: Rant ahead, please stop reading if you dislike the use of cursing and evil words in things that you read or hear.

The deplorable state of common sense and civic mindedness in Malaysian drivers when it comes to parking and driving has really gotten on my nerves and I'm just a molecule away from going berserk at people that double park their cars without consideration or having the least common sense that their actions are obstructing traffic and creating an unnecessary crawl throughout the day.

I mean seriously, unless these drivers are in a world of their own, I don't see how one can be so damn fucking oblivious to their surroundings and the cars that are waiting behind them, with some even refuse to budge when they are getting honked at. Sure you can say that in Malaysia it's like this, but no it does not have to be like this. Just because so many people do it doesn't mean it's right, and if you think that it's ok to double park or swerve in and out of traffic at 120kph you're probably just a typical ignorant Malaysian who doesn't give a fuck about what is or isn't being done by the people, the govt, the police force, etc.

In places like Bangsar, around the Telawi area, people park as if they own the roads. These people don't bloody care if their super huge Mercedes is double parked, taking up half of the available lane space. These niggers think just because they drive a bloody big ass car they can just park where ever they want. Hell I bet if an ambulance, in urgent need of transporting a person in critical condition, was stuck behind them, they'd sit in their comfy leather seats looking ahead with such a cool expression on their faces as if no one else existed in the world except them and the person that they are waiting for.

One can just wonder how the hell did these people go through school (if they ever did) and not develop even a slight hint of civic mindedness and common sense? Oh right, our country's education system (amongst other things) are so fucking screwed up. Hello Education Ministry, see what teaching Pendidikan Moral does to our society.

As for the Police force / dbkl etc, hellloooooooo, can't you see that places like Bangsar is a gold mine waiting to be exploited? With the amount of traffic / parking offenders in the area, just a month of issuing summonses would net enough money for the government / authorities concerned, to do something to curb the limited availability of parking that cause these idiots to double park in the first place - build a big ass parking structure (more money to be made there too). Yeah I'm over exaggerating about the one month period, but you get the point.

But seriously much needs to be done about the issue of ignorant and inconsiderate drivers. Why not set up a joint task force / program between civilians and the police, with both parties cooperating and working together to crackdown on these errant parkers? It is just preposterous to have to spend 20 minutes in traffic just to drive through 3 blocks. If towing companies here in Malaysia had rights to tow any vehicle that's obstructing traffic or parked illegally, I would start a towing business.

End rant.
